Rajon Rondo may not have the best personality on the Celtics, but he seems to be opening up about everything this summer. In this recent interview brought to you by GlobalGrind.com, Rondo lets it slip that he is starting up his music career. That’s right, the Celtics point guard wants to partner with a female friend and release an R&B CD.
I was a little surprised to hear that Rondo is more of an R&B fan over hip-hop and rap. He was hanging out with Snoop Dogg just a few weeks ago. (No I will not be calling him Snoop Lion in the same way I will never call Ron Artest, Metta World Peace.) Rondo also gets his name mentioned by famous rappers on what seems to be a daily basis. That has to inflate his ego a little bit.
At the same time it makes sense that Rondo wouldn’t want to go into a game too pumped or too intense. He’s already intense enough as it is, so it might not be a bad idea to listen to some Drake or Usher to mellow him out.
Will Rondo be able to make it in the music business? We’ll keep you updated and let you know the second Rondo’s album drops.
P.S. It’s good to know that not every single woman in every single city is flocking to Rondo at all times. That would be too much for him to handle.
